Family is probably the most important thing in one’s life. This couple decided to document their son growing up, creating beautiful memories for the whole family. Check their fascinating photos to see how they all changed and what they’ve been through as the years went by.
Back in the early 90’s this happy couple took a photo holding hands above their newborn son.
A year later, the parents decided to take the exact same picture. The little baby’s grown a little, now standing on his own feet and holding his parents hands.
The tradition goes on. The whole family is barefoot, dressed in dark shorts and white shirts, happily smiling in the camera.
While the parents are posing, the boy looks like he’s rather interested in something else behind the scenes.
Everyone is alone. Neither the son holds his parents hands, nor his parents hold each others.
You may notice, that this is the first time they’re standing this close to eachother.
One year has passed and surprisingly, the mother is the only one who’s changed.
Although maybe something did change and happen in their lives over a year, they look almost the same.
This time many things have changed. Each of them look older. The father with his glasses, the mother with her pixie haircut and their son with his serious look on his face.
Back to being close. Noticed that their smiles are bigger in these kind of pictures?
The young man wearing a logo of a famous music band and his hands in his pockets tells us a lot. He’s really started to grow up, not just physically but mentally.
Everyone is became so serious over the years, even the always-smiling father.
Huge style-change and hands out of the pockets. What an improvement!
Meanwhile the parents barely change, their son is constantly changing and transforming.
Somebody is now taller than his mother. Will he become taller than his father, too?
From the look of the teenager’s face you can read that he’s already considering himself an adult and he don’t need anybody anymore.
Little did he know that this is one of the most important time in his life when he would need his parents.
Growing up or bringing up a child is not easy. Especially when you hate and also need each other at the same time.
At the age of 18 you are legally an adult. But are you really on the same level as your parents for example?
As you get older, you realize that your parents need you just as much you need them.
Even if you don’t want to, you will eventually start to look like one of your parents. Or both of them.
Remember the tiny baby and the young couple? Time’s flying, that’s them now. No matter what, don’t forget the memories you share with your family, they are the most precious part of your life.
